Black Ram Engineering Services, LLC, the leading provider of engineering services and high-end technical solutions for the defense and space industry, is seeking a Reliability Engineer, preferably with aerospace/DOD experience, for our Palmdale, CA location.  This position will support the Specialty Engineering organization and works closely with the systems and design engineering teams. Successful candidates will have a general understanding of systems development/design and integration and an in-depth knowledge of the reliability engineering discipline.

The Reliability Engineer will be responsible for the accomplishment of the following tasks assuring the attainment of program and reliability requirements:

• Reliability program statement of work (SOW)
• Specification requirements development and flow down to subcontractors
• FMECA development in close coordination with design and safety engineers
• Reliability allocation/prediction/assessment analysis
• Mission reliability modeling, prediction and assessment
• Reliability growth assessment

The essential skills and requirements of the position are as follows:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Ten years of related experience
• Ability to act as an advisor to management and customers on technical issues
• Ability to effectively interact with interdisciplinary and intra-company teams of systems engineers
• Results oriented
• Excellent organizational, interpretive and analysis skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency in the use of Relex software application
• If not located in Palmdale, CA, candidates must be willing to either commute or relocate to the area.  This position can either be worked as a direct full time or a full time on site consultant
• U.S. Citizenship
• Top Secret Clearance
• Ability to travel on occasion
