At McMaster-Carr, we have been supplying the equipment that keeps the wheels of industry turning for over 100 years.  Our diverse product line caters to a customer base that spans manufacturing, machining, maintenance, medicine, and movie-making.  We are looking to place a Facility Maintenance Manager in our Aurora, Ohio location. 

As our business and our workplace are dynamic, our facility maintenance manager must be ready for a challenge.  You will play a significant role in making this site operationally effective.  Specifically, the facility maintenance manager will oversee all maintenance activities and will be charged with upholding high standards for building system productivity.  Responsibility for such critical operations as our conveyor systems and vehicle fleet, including electric powered fork lifts and order pickers, is a significant part of this role.  In addition, you must help us maintain a comfortable and positive work environment for our employees by managing our electrical, HVAC, building automation and lighting control systems. 

The facility maintenance manager should be highly responsive to the variety of issues and challenges that face a distribution center every day.  We seek a candidate that has the vision and management ability to oversee a world class facility and an innovative maintenance organization.  A college degree is required, and a minimum of eight years of relevant experience is preferred.  In return, we offer a compensation package commensurate with the talent we seek including medical and dental benefits, company profit-sharing, and tuition reimbursement.
