Reliability Engineer - New Orleans Area, LA
The Reliability Engineer is responsible for driving / leading continuous improvement of equipment reliability by providing / coordinating technical support to Westwego and Reserve facilities. The ultimate goal of this position is to optimize the full life cycle cost impact of the company’s working assets through effective application of all Reliability Engineering processes.
Principal Accountabilities:
• Assure the integrity of the CMMS Input processes Lead / Champion Cause Analysis (CA) to identify and eliminate defects which are responsible for major down-time of equipment / process.
• Provide direction / technical support to Planner(s) - Ensure that precision maintenance practices are understood.
• Focus on the implementation and compliance of new RE work processes - track progress and compare to benchmarks.

Required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Preferably Mechanical) .
• A minimum of eight years experience in production, maintenance, or project management.
• Training and knowledge of predictive maintenance technologies (vibration analysis, tribology, etc.)
• Training and knowledge of management of proactive maintenance model.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and implement detailed solutions to complex technical problems involving multiple technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi-functional teams
Desired
• CMRP preferred.
