Skills required:

▫Technical background in the Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS) market including, single and three phase products and services. Experience with other types of power quality products preferred, but not required.

Reports To: Vice President Predictive Maintenance Products and Services

I. Basic Function:

The “Vibra-Metrics Sales and Marketing Manager” is responsible for the overall Vibra-Metrics Product sales, its growth and success.  This will be achieved through strong vibration related product knowledge, expert planning and analysis, constant evaluation and course correction, motivation skills, communication and coordination of the corporate worldwide sales force, subsidiaries, use of outside sales representatives and resellers, inside sales personnel, marketing activities, and Customer Relationship Management.

II. Qualifications:

The Vibra-Metrics Sales and Marketing Manager must have all of the following qualifications:

1. Must have high initiative, high sales energy and intensity and be capable of leading to products sales success. 
2. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Vibration, Vibration Sensors, & Predictive Maintenance.
3. Bachelors degree, Mechanical Engineering preferred.
4. Sales Management direct experience managing a sales team and Representatives. 
5. Knowledge and experience in the rotating machinery industrial and utility marketplace.
6. Good Computer skills with Microsoft Office, Customer data base.
7. Good planning, communication and documentation (verbal and written) skills.

III. Responsibilities:

1. Sales Related Activities
a. Develop and reach target selling budgets. 
b. Planning, communicating and executing a selling strategy.
c. Coordination and motivation of in-house, outside sales force, and corporate worldwide sales resources to meet goals.
d. Working with CVI/Conam to maximize products sales with Vibration and PM services.
e. Constant Contacting and motivating of the Representative force.  Hiring and firing responsibility.
f. Developing OEM relationships with large customers and Vibration companies.  Offer branded vibration sensors, electronics modules and systems. 
g. Manage the Vibra-Metrics sales personnel, developing an efficient, paperless, Vibrametrics office Infrastructure with standard quotes, internet sales and sales automation for efficiency. 
h. Keeping contact with key customers directly and to assist the outside sales force.
i. Communication, coordination and planning with Manufacturing and Engineering to assure that customer needs are fully met.
j. Assure that all customer communications, quotes and proposals are top notch, timely and professional.
k. Keeping our ISO-9001 quality focus on all Vibra-Metrics Sales and Marketing activities.

2. Marketing: 
a. Develop and execute a Marketing plan. 
b. Coordinate the Marketing strategy consisting of advertising, product promotion, publishing of articles, show participation, meetings, lectures, “Lunch and Learns” and training seminars.  Minimize marketing budget while gaining the maximum results.
c. Evaluate marketing responses, determine the best possible channels for advertising and promotion.
d. Gather competitive information regarding existing Vibration companies and products (sensors and systems), and determine how to position the Vibra-Metrics products to assure a unique, on target, product and continued sales growth.
e. Providing marketing support and feedback into product development through position papers, business plans and development of proposed product descriptions. 

3. Customer Relationship Management
a. Assist in superior customer communications and satisfaction.
b. Assist in planning and coordinating various Vibration based; On line monitoring services, on site services and training.
c. Establish the Vibra-Metrics name to be synonymous with high tech, high value, low cost Vibration products and services.

4. Product Development Input

a. Help define and prioritize product enhancements and new products that meet customer needs and stay ahead of the competition. 
b. Provide vision towards the future product needs and direction.

Genevieve, Missouri greenfield plant and a member of the Maintenance & Reliability Team, you work closely with the Project Team, equipment suppliers, plant staff and Process Area Teams to ensure successful commissioning of the plant, participate in the creation of preventative maintenance routines and bills of materials for electrical equipment, and help create safe systems, procedures and practices for a new plant with no historical data or information during the design, construction and commissioning phases.
