Holcim (US) has an immediate opening, due to a recent promotion, for a dynamic, results-oriented, experienced Reliability Engineer to be located at its plant in Clarksville, MO.  The plant maintenance engineer will be responsible for the facilitation of continuous improvement processes around equipment availability and reliability. Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Condition Based Maintenance program (CBM) at Clarksville. This program includes, but is not limited, to vibration analysis, lubrication management, non-destructive testing and other predictive technologies. Work with planning, reliability & corrective maintenance area employees to establish a predictive maintenance environment and philosophy.  Analyse and eliminate of repetitive problems through root cause analysis, Pareto analysis, statistical review, FMEA and similar techniques.  Ensure employees and contractors observe safe work practices and perform work assignments within MSHA and Company established safety guidelines.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and previous experience in cement or heavy industrial maintenance (3-5 years or more) required.  This engineer will have a focus on safety, self-starting and able to work with minimum supervision with solid decision-making abilities, possess ability to interact and function as a team with other departments, conducting and participating effectively in meetings, able to gain commitment; be an effective leader, and have excellent problem-solving, planning and organization skills.

With your proven project management, planning and engineering talent, you will assist in the planning of major and minor equipment outages for electrical department and maintain project schedules for maintenance services and materials. You will be responsible management of SAP notifications, work orders, and creation and management of electrical purchase requisitions service entries for contractor services. Networking and establishing working partnerships with local vendors & O.E.M suppliers for electrical components and parts is critical in this role. You will work closely with the Electrical Manager in preparing the plant maintenance and capital expenditure budget and work with local procurement personnel to help facilitate parts ordering & staging for job execution. The individuals selected for these Predictive Maintenance (PdM) Specialist positions will work closely with Reliability Engineers, Maintenance Engineers, and others to minimize equipment downtime and life cycle costs. They will use PdM technologies to identify equipment failures in early stages; thereby allowing maintenance to be performed on a scheduled basis. They will promote precision maintenance practices and use PdM technologies to evaluate the quality of repairs and installations. 

PdM Specialists are responsible and accountable for safely collecting, analyzing, and reporting on the general health of plant assets. Below is a list of duties they complete in order to achieve this goal:
• Perform, interpret data, and report on the following tasks:
 Vibration analysis inspections
 Tribology (oil analysis) inspections
 Infrared (thermal) inspections
 Ultrasonic testing
 Motor Current Evaluation (MCEmax) inspections
• Participate in Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) investigations.
• Assist the Reliability Engineer when implementing RCM study findings.
• Assist craftsman during precision alignments and/or balancing tasks.
• Recommending repairs based on PdM data.
• Create requisitions and notifications in SAP when a need for maintenance has been identified.

Education/Experience/Skill Requirements:
• High School Diploma or higher required as well as at least one-year experience with two or more PdM technologies and a sound background in maintenance
• Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, and the ability to work with limited supervision
• An excellent safety work record and demonstrated safety behaviors
• Able and willing to work a schedule that supports the business needs (may include shift work, weekend work, and holiday work)
• Computer competency including basic Excel skills - basic formatting, formulas, charts/graphs and manipulation of data. Experience with SAP, DMSI and other PdM software desired
