Xenonics to Launch Infrared Illuminator
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA—January 11, 2008—XENONICS HOLDINGS, INC. (AMEX:XNN), a leader in high-intensity illumination and high-definition night vision technologies, announced today that it will launch SuperVision IlluminatorTM, an infrared illumination device designed to be mounted on Xenonics’ patented SuperVision hand-held, high-definition night vision system, at the SHOT Show in Las Vegas, February 2-5, 2008.
“SuperVision is a breakthrough in night vision that incorporates an HDTV display, proprietaryDSP, ultra-sensitive multispectral CCD technology and zoom capability, to provide GEN III performance at a fraction of the price,” said Chuck Hunter, CEO. “Our new SuperVision Illuminator enhances SuperVision’s functionality by providing infrared energy in situations of total darkness, where there is zero ambient IR energy.
