Vibra•Metrics Announces the New Economical High Performance 6000 Series Accelerometers
Princeton Junction, NJ, May 2006 – Vibra-Metrics is pleased to announce the release of the new 6000 series of high performance vibration sensors. This series is well-suited for machine condition monitoring. Immediately available are six models to cover a variety of different temperature ranges and operating conditions.
Regarding the product line release, the Vibra-Metrics Product Manager, Brian Graney stated, “The 6000 series of high performance accelerometers brings years of past high performance development experience to the market with an outstanding product line.”
The Model 6050 is a top mounted 2-PIN military general purpose accelerometer with a sensitivity of 100 mv/g and an unmatched frequency response range of 5 – 10 kHz (±5%). The Model 6060 is also a general purpose accelerometer, that features a side 2-PIN MIL connector. This unit is suitable for operation up to 250F. This accelerometer is excellent for online monitoring when a high performance low profile accelerometer is needed. The Model 6420V is a loop powered 4-20 mA velocity output sensor and features a frequency range of 10 Hz – 1.0 KHz (±10%). This sensor uses a top mounted 2-PIN MIL connection, and the Model 6420V is perfect for online monitoring when an output for a PLC is required. Some of the other Models being introduced in this
series include the Model 6051, the Model 6051C, and the Model 6061. For more information and complete specifications please contact Vibra-Metrics.
