PROACT Human Error Reduction Strategies Workshop Place Finalist in Product of the Year
PROACT Human Error Reduction Strategies Workshop developed by Reliability Center, Inc., of Hopewell, Virginia is a Finalist in Plant Engineering magazine’s 2006 Product of the Year contest in the Training/Education Products category.
PROACT Human Error Reduction Strategies Workshop is designed to teach employees to be practitioners of reduced human error.
The workshop covers topics and techniques such as:
• 28 Types of human errors
• 10 Human error traps in the work place
• 10 Supervisory skills to reduce human errors
• Crew turnover
• Skill based error reduction techniques
• Rule based error reduction techniques
• Knowledge based error reduction techniques
Upon completion of this course the attendees will be able to reduce human error in the workplace. This will increase product first time throughputs, minimize injuries, equipment damage and outages. Time previously spent responding to consequences and correction of human error can be directed toward more productive endeavors.
In the first phase of the competition a panel of judges selected by Plant Engineering magazine reviewed all product submissions to select finalists for each category. For the final phase of judgment all finalists’ products will be published in Plant Engineering magazine’s November 2006 issue to be judged by their 100,000+ subscribers. Subscribers will be voting online for their choice in each category.
