ISA Appoints Global Operations Manager

Research Triangle Park, NC (26 July 2006) - ISA recently announced the appointment of Timothy Feldman as Global Operations Manager.

Feldman comes to ISA from the National Electrical Manufacturers Association, where he was Vice President of Industry Programs. In this position, he was responsible for relations with member companies, program management, sales and customer service functions. In addition, he enhanced NEMA’s operations in Mexico, Brazil and established NEMA’s presence in China.

“Mr. Feldman’s experience in extending NEMA’s influence overseas will serve us well in the coming years as we increase emphasis and dedicate resources to expand ISA’s influence globally,” said ISA President Ken Baker.

Feldman also served as Vice President of Government Affairs at NEMA. He directed advocacy of industry-specific issues to the executive branch, US Congress, state governments, federal and state agencies and international governments.

Prior to joining NEMA, Feldman was Manager of Legislative Affairs for Oracle Corporation, where he advocated issues to members of the US Congress and other key stakeholders. He drove software industry involvement in consortia of technical companies on issues important to the industry and established Oracle as a reliable source of quality information on Capitol Hill.

“We’re extremely pleased that Mr. Feldman will be joining us at ISA. He has extensive association, private sector and government relations experience, and we’re confident that he’ll be able to develop and lead ISA’s global initiatives,” said ISA Executive Director Patrick Gouhin.

Feldman holds a B.S. in Industrial Relations from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, New York. He is also a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt and earned a certificate in Strategic Collective Bargaining from the University of Michigan.
