AIRT welcomes Larry Welch as Senior Thermography Training Professional
The Academy of Infrared Training welcomes new Senior Thermography Training Professional Larry Welch. Mr. Welch is Level I, II, and III certified. He adds over 15 years experience in infrared inspection to AIRT’s training credentials.
Through his career, Mr. Welch gained a varied maintenance background. At both General Electric and Ford Motor Co., he worked as an Electronic and Calibration Technician. He then added PdM Coordinator and Thermographer titles to his Ford resume. His last eight years at Ford, he served as the Pdm Program’s Plant Coordinator for Infrared and Ultrasonic Surveys.
Larry Welch has taught Level I and Level II infrared certification classes for the past 10 years, and is currently the advising chairman of the Infrared User Group and Infrared Training Committee at Ford.
