SYNTHETIC GEAR LUBRICANT PROTECTS THE LIFE OF CRITICAL GEARBOX COMPONENTS

Alberta, Canada (June 13, 2006) – Oil & gas companies can improve pumping output in extreme weather conditions by using ANDEROL Inc.’s synthetic-based gear lubricant, PumpJack 150. Specifically formulated to achieve favorable gearbox performance, the lubricant increases oil pumpability while reducing motor torque.  PumpJack 150 will be on display in ANDEROL’s booth # 6072 at the Global Petroleum Show 2006.

An industry-proven specialty lubricant, PumpJack 150 protects the life of gearbox components by providing rust protection, preventing premature wear, reducing oil deposits and improving cleanliness. The results are decreased maintenance costs, time and labor expenditures. Documented evidence also confirms that PumpJack 150 reduces energy consumption by an average of 14 percent, further maximizing operating efficiency and equipment investment.

“PumpJack 150 supports critical drilling applications and oil pumping productivity in extreme cold-weather regions, from oil reserves to oil transit pipelines,” says Darren J. Lesinski, technical service manager at ANDEROL. “This technology is proven to enhance performance, reduce start-up torques and lower amperage requirements—translating into significant cost savings.”

The PumpJack 150 has a high viscosity index and Pour Point of -55°C/-67°F and it offers excellent load carrying characteristics for improved pumping performance. Additionally, it requires less change outs than conventional petroleum-based fluids, so downtime is minimized.

PumpJack 150 meets major OEM requirements for gear reducers in pump jack applications and is compatible with paints, seals, gaskets and hoses.
