INFOR Delivers Enterprise Asset Management at User Conference

Inforum 2007 Explores Keys to Increase Asset Performance and Profitability

ATLANTA - August 9, 2007 - Infor today announced it will highlight more than 40 educational sessions on enterprise asset management (EAM) at the company’s global annual user conference, Inforum 2007, to be held September 9-12 at Las Vegas’ Sands Expo and Convention Center. Infor experts, partners and customers will present their best practices and case studies, as well as the benefits of extending current investments in Infor ERP solutions with EAM.

“Inforum’s educational sessions provide our customers with valuable insights gained through years of experience providing business-specific EAM solutions for industries including manufacturing, fleet, facility management, life sciences, and public sector,” said Marty Osborn, Infor’s director of Enterprise Asset Management. “Inforum provides the stage for some of the world’s top companies to share their views, tips and practices on getting the most out of EAM and maximizing the functionality from their Infor solutions.”

Osborn will lead two key sessions: “Integrating EAM with ERP,” which explores the benefits of Infor Open SOA; and “What’s New in Infor EAM”, which discusses the latest product developments and enhancements, as well as the future direction for the solution.

In addition, longtime Infor EAM customer Marvin Windows, will present how the correct utilization of key performance indicators provides a direct impact on daily performance and operations. In another session, Wake Forest University will discuss the benefits gained by all levels of facility management following their transition from a paper purchasing requisition system to a paperless, online process using Infor EAM Enterprise Edition.

EAM sessions at Inforum will hone in on how business-specific asset management solutions enable companies of all sizes to improve the performance and reliability of critical assets. Additional topics will range from “Unlocking the Power of Your System to Best Practices in Action” to “Going Green with Asset Management”. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask the Infor EAM product team direct questions about the solution and its capabilities in a Q&A session.

Inforum 2007 offers networking opportunities such as ConnectAtInforum.com, a business matchmaking tool to help customers connect with like-minded peers prior to and during the conference, and Enterprising Square, a dedicated space organized into Infor solution communities to encourage idea sharing between Inforum activities.

Beginning in August, attendees can create a conference agenda using a new tool, U-Builder, on Inforum2007.com. U-Builder enables attendees to customize their schedule based on personal interests, allowing them to plan and organize all of their conference activities and manage conflicts.

Inforum 2007 is expected to attract customers and partners from around the world who come to learn about new business opportunities, collaborate on Infor’s business-specific solutions, and get the latest story on the product roadmaps for their solutions. Infor PM sessions are part of hundreds of educational sessions on topics such as best practices, tips and techniques, product seminars, business strategy, and industry trends.
