Briefing: Ivara’s Relationship with MRO Software

ARC Advisory Group was recently briefed by Ivara on their Asset Reliability Solution and partnership with MRO Software, soon to be part of IBM.

Ivara focuses on making maintenance more proactive to achieve increased plant output and other important benefits.  Ivara’s WorkSmart Methodology permits customers to address reliability one system at a time, enabling rapid ROI, effective change management and sustained improvement.  The software solution, Ivara EXP, offers a complete reliability system to manage asset health as part of a proactive condition based and reliability centered maintenance program.  It complements EAM systems, such as MRO Software’s Maximo, by helping to identify the right work on the right equipment at the right time.

The partnership with MRO Software delivers a much tighter integration between Maximo and EXP, allowing better sharing and access to important asset information needed for better asset reliability and performance optimization.  Both MRO Software and Ivara have a long list of satisfied customers, with success stories in many asset intensive industries.  Typical benefits from the Ivara Reliability Solution include improved asset utilization, increased plant output and reduced maintenance costs.  Some Ivara customers with success stories include Dofasco Steel, Quebec Cartier Mining, Catalyst Paper and Brighton Beach Power.  The new partnership should increase the reliability value proposition for Maximo and EXP clients.
