August 21, 2007 Czech Refining Integrates SAP Plant Maintenance and Primavera to Improve Maintenance Practice
WALTHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Impress Software, a leading provider of packaged integration applications, today announced the completion of the Impress for EPM implementation at the Czech Refining Company (CRC). Impress for EPM will serve as the bridge between SAP’s Plant Maintenance (PM) and Project Systems (PS) modules and Primavera P3e for shutdown and routine maintenance initiatives.
CRC is the largest crude oil processing company and the largest producer of refined petroleum products in the Czech Republic. Established in 1995, CRC operates as a joint venture with Unipetrol, ENI, ConocoPhillips, and Shell. Two years ago, the Company embarked on an initiative to improve operating performance and maintenance practices at its two refineries. After a thorough analysis of requirements, the Company embraced Shell’s Global Asset Management Excellence (GAME) initiative.
