Caver-Morehead Systems to Be Acquired by RF Monolithics
Cirronet(TM), Inc. announced today that it has signed a definitive agreement to be acquired by RF Monolithics, Inc. (RFM) of Dallas, Texas. The transaction is expected to close in September and is valued at $24 million, including $4.8 million based on obtaining performance targets. RFM also announced a definitive agreement to acquire Caver-Morehead Systems, Inc., a leading producer of computerized maintenance management system ("CMMS") software. The combination of technologies - Cirronet’s proprietary, Bluetooth and ZigBee products; RFM’s low-power short-range radio technology; and Caver-Morehead’s sophisticated machine monitoring and maintenance management application software - enable comprehensive wireless solutions.

EAM software implementation partnerships strengthen Invensys presence in Latin America

IBM to Buy MRO Software for $740 Million
IBM to Acquire MRO Software for $740 Million, or $25.80 Per Share, in Cash
ARMONK, N.Y. (AP)—International Business Machines said Wednesday it agreed to buy MRO Software Inc. for about $740 million in cash, expanding IBM’s consulting and computer-services businesses.
IBM, of Armonk, N.Y., plans to pay $25.80 per share for the Bedford, Mass., maker of asset and service management software, which is used to manage asset purchasing. The price represents a premium of 19 percent over MRO’s Wednesday closing price of $21.60.
